Hilda Marie Dumaine, 98

Cape Cod, MA - Hilda Marie (Blais) Dumaine of Cape Cod, MA passed away Sunday February 17, 2013 after a brief illness at the age of 98. She was the wife of the late Alpha Dumaine, formerly of Pawtucket, RI. Hilda was a Registered Nurse at the Miriam Hospital in Providence for many years until she retired. She and her family attended St. Cecilia Church of Pawtucket for many years while they resided in this area. She enjoyed baking, camping and spending time with her family. She moved to Florida and the Cape to be closer to her children. She leaves two daughters, Eileen Benoit of Callahan, Florida and Ellen Bedard of Barnstable, MA; a son, Ernest Dumaine and his wife, Lainie of Sagamore Beach, MA, six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and many nephews and nieces. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the CHEETHAM Funeral Home, 1012 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket.
